Selling your factored property

When a homeowner sells or transfers their property, they will need to inform the Council’s multi-storey billing team by e-mail at multistorey.billing@edinburgh.gov.uk as to the date of legal settlement of the sale and the name of the new homeowner. This requirement is so that a final invoice can be prepared for the departing homeowner and details of the new homeowner can be recorded. The outgoing homeowner will be required to make payment upon receipt of the final invoice and statement for the year to that date.
