Shared Lives

Living with a Shared Lives carer

Shared Lives is when you live with paid carers in their home. Shared Lives is for people over 16 who have a learning disability. You can stay with a carer for a weekend or a few days' holiday or for a longer time.

You can

  • develop new skills and meet new people
  • get support to become more independent.

We will

  • plan for your needs
  • find the best carer for you
  • support you and your carer.
