- In general fireworks displays may not be held between 11 pm and 7 am. On Bonfire Night, Hogmanay, and the first days of the Chinese New Year and Diwali, there are limited extensions to these times. You can apply for a 'dispensation' to allow a fireworks display during the restricted time.

an additional 20% 'late fee' charge is payable for any temporary licence application received within 28 days of the date the licence is due to start.
